Inception isn’t a new thought

Shree Krishna says to Uddhava that he enjoyed playing dandiya (wooden sticks) with Gopi’s for six months calculated in terms of period of the Brahma (creator of the Universe).

The Gopis too were so one with Him, that they used to at least think of Him (Krishna) thrice a day, every morning, at noon and in the evenings.

They were so deeply in love with the Lord that they left their homes, their families for His one appearance. He says ahead that while leaving the village, their husbands and families had locked them but they were so involved with Him that they didn’t hesitate to leave all for Him.

Krishna says to Uddhava that the Yogi’s (spiritual men) and even God’s like Shankar have to take efforts to get Him, but as was the love of the Gopi’s that He changed the period f one night to Brahma’s six months and nobody except Him knew of it. Even the Gopi’s weren’t aware of it, but rather wanted more!!
